Surface Completions
After drilling is done and the well is deemed viable for production,the well must now be ‘completed’.
Perforations are made in the portion of the casing which passed through the production zone, to provide a path for the oil to flow from the surrounding rock into the production tubing.
A wide range of equipment and tools are required in the surface completion of a well. Seals are critically important to the functionality and safety of this equipment. Elastomer materials are tested to rigorous oil and gas standards.
